※ The table below outlines the basic course completion requirements based on the year of admission for students admitted to the Mueunjae School of Undergraduate Studies.
Major elective courses refer to all courses in the major that are not categorized as major required courses. Students can select courses that align with their specific area of specialization or choose courses related to the field they intend to pursue in graduate school. In some cases, courses offered by other departments may also be recognized as major electives. Please check the specific department's regulations if applicable.
Free elective courses are those that students can freely choose outside of their primary major, including general education courses or major courses from other departments. Undergraduate students can also take graduate-level courses, such as those from the Graduate Institute of Ferrous & Eco Materials Technology, and have them count as free electives.
Applied Basic required courses are those that must be completed as part of the practical liberal arts education. Students must complete 2 units of the University Life and Future Planning courses to fulfill this requirement.
Applied Basic elective courses refer to all courses in the Applied Basic Course category that are not required. There is no maximum limit on the number of units, but students must complete at least 5 units.
