Hello, this is the POSTECH Startup Support Team. On Thursday, October 10th, we will be hosting a special lecture titled "Innovator's Journey" featuring Bob Smith. Bob Smith is the Associate Dean for Research Innovation and Entrepreneurship at George Washington University (GW) and the Director of the NSF I-Corps program, where he lectures at the DC node. He is also an active resident mentor at GW. In this lecture, he will discuss the differences in mindset between researchers and entrepreneurs, key considerations at various research stages, and the objectives of market entry programs. With over 30 years of experience in innovation and entrepreneurship, Bob’s insights into the "Innovator's Journey" will be invaluable. Discover the new Cryptocurrency and Applications course on COURSERA, the world’s largest MOOC platform, offered in collaboration with Professor Hong Won-gi of Computer Science in POSTECH. The course, which began on August 12, provides an understanding of cryptocurrency and token technology based on blockchain technology. It introduces and provides practical examples of key applications such as stable coins, NFTs, Fractional NFTs, and DeFi. The course is available for free to anyone interested in Cryptocurrency. Since establishing a partnership with COURSERA in 2016, POSTECH has been consistently offering courses and currently hosts a total of 9 courses.
