POSTECH's Efforts for Sustainable Development

POSTECH is striving to create new social value through the establishment of a sustainable campus and to contribute to solving global challenges faced by humanity and the world.

Sustainable Development Committee

POSTECH has formed a committee to establish a practical and realistic sustainable development system and incorporate the opinions of all university members.
The committee also operates specialized subcommittees (Environmental, Social Contribution, and Ethical Governance), with designated departments for efficient management.

Sustainable Campus Initiative by 4 Universities

Recognizing the responsibility of universities for a sustainable future, four Korean universities (POSTECH, Korea University, Seoul National University, Yonsei University) have come together to declare their commitment to fostering sustainable campuses. This joint declaration was made on November 27, 2024, reflecting their shared dedication to addressing global sustainability challenges.
